Want, Need, Now: Water Draining Soap Holder

Water Draining Soap Holder

Looking for a way to increase the useful life of that bar of soap? Not that it’s a big deal or anything, but goopy soap is a huge pet peeve. Aside from, well, wasting good soap, it also makes washing your hands a difficult process. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make sense to dry the bar after every use (can you even imagine doing that?)

But here’s a bit of good news: a soap holder which does just that for you exists. The Water Draining Soap Holder basically drains away the excess water from the soap so it doesn’t slowly melt away in the holder.

One first world problem, solved. It’s available online for $5.25.

Lather Up in Imaginary Riches With BitCoin-Inspired BitSoaps

Bitsoaps

You can’t hold Bitcoins in your hands but you can lather up a storm with BitSoaps. The two are in no way affiliated with each other; one is an a cryptocurrency you can actually spend, while the other one is a giant coin-shaped soap that comes in three variants.

BitSoaps are made by an enterprising young couple who were “fascinated by [the] concept and versatile utility” of the Bitcoin currency. So they decided to jump on its popularity and come up with soaps inspired by it. On their website, they explain: “Our love for nature and passion for exciting endeavors has drawn us to creating this project. A project that merged environmental mindfulness and digital currency. Marrying these polarized ideas has, therefore, given birth to BitSoaps.”

There are three kinds of BitSoaps to choose from: Bitcoin Hemp Oil Soap Bar, Bitcoin Valentines Lavender Hemp/Castile Soap Bar, and Litecoin Castile Soap Bar. Each coin–er, bar–is priced at $4.42.

Baths Get a Level Up With Nintendo and Game Boy Cartridge Soaps

NES Cartridge Soap

Bath time just got infinitely better for kids and kids-at-heart! Soaps modeled after Super Nintendo and Game Boy cartridges are now available from Firebox. At first glance, they look like the real thing, but you’ll be able to tell the difference with one touch because obviously soap feels different than plastic.

They’re available in a bunch of different titles, but they all come with an invigorating energy citrus scent.

For Super Nintendo, the following titles are available: Donkey Kong Country, Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Mario Kart, and The Legend of Zelda.
For Game Boy, the following titles are available: Earthworm Jim, Kirby’s Dreamland, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Red, Super Mario Land, Tetris, and The Legend of Zelda.

Bacon Soap: Don’t Eat It, Just Bathe In It

Bacon Soap

Now you can have bacon even before you sit down at the table for breakfast. You can’t eat it though, unless you want to come down with an upset stomach, because I’m talking about Bacon Soap.

Bacon is the ultimate meat that goes great with everything: burgers, pork chops, soups, tacos, salads, pasta, and more. Its meaty, smoky flavor has been incorporated into a multitude of other products too, like popping candy, gravy, toothpaste, mouthwash, and even alcoholic drinks. It’s easy to see why: it just makes everything else taste better–including you, but instead of taste, it works wonders in the “smell” department.

I wouldn’t say Bacon Soap comes in bars though, because it looks more like slabs to me. The soap is made from natural vegan ingredients, including coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, and olive oil, to leave you with soft, supple and moisturized skin. And of course, it works up a rich lather, leaving you with the subtle smell of bacon, even after you’ve rinsed.

Bacon Soap is available online for $12.
