Fugglers are Creepy Plush Toys with Fake Human Teeth

Fugglers

These Fugglers plush toys are the stuff of nightmares. They look all sorts of creepy, no thanks to the fact that their mouths are lined with fake human teeth. Some sport painful-looking grimaces, others wear expressions that scream bloody murder, and one in particular just looks plain crazy.

Clearly they aren’t meant for the kids, but they might make for some interesting decorations come Halloween.

Chiu Chih’s Survival Kit for the Apocalyptic Future

Chiu Chih Survival Kit

At the rate things are going, we’d be lucky if the human survives for a couple more centuries. Chiu Chih’s concept for a future contraption that humans might need if the world we live in goes downhill looks daunting. The project is called “Voyage on the Planet” and focuses on the current state of the earth. It raises controversial and much-debated questions like new energy sources and further exploration of the planet to ensure its survival.

Chiu’s solution for deteriorating air quality? A backpack of fresh air provided by a lone plant stored in the clear backpack.

UndeadTed Zombified Teddy Bears are Every Kid’s Nightmare

Zombie Ted

Shows and movies like The Walking Dead and Zombieland have pushed the zombie trend into a more prominent position in pop culture. As a result, we’ve got more people dressing up as zombies during Halloween and we’re all seeing a lot more things that are getting the undead treatment–the most recent one being a bunch of what used to be cuddly and adorable teddy bears.

These bears, aptly called UndeadTeds, are the handiwork of UK artist Phillip Blackman. He created a whole line of these zombified teddy bears which are now, unsurprisingly, all sold out. He’s hard at work on a new set of gory bears, so it shouldn’t be long before he has new ones up for sale on his Etsy shop.

You can hit the break to see what you missed–but if you grew up loving teddy bears and cuddling them when you were little, I suggest you look elsewhere, because undead teddies are not a pretty sight.

You Snooze, You Lose–Your Head, That Is! (Don’t Worry, It’s Just a Prank)

Head Fall Off

Have you ever sneezed so hard that your head fell off? No? Well, here, let me show you.

Looks horrifying, doesn’t it? But don’t worry. As we’ve said earlier, it’s just a prank, and a pretty well-executed one at that. The guy you see who loses his head literally is a magician named Rich Ferguson, who was entertaining scaring the crap out of the passersby at Bubblegum Alley in San Luis Obispo, California. As expected, some people freaked out, others screamed, and a couple of them actually ran for dear life.

It’s pretty hilarious and it’s a fun way to cap off the week–especially if you had a stressful one. Hit the break to check the video out!

‘Ask Me About My Zombie Shirt’ is Perfect for Halloween

Zombie Shirt

Halloween is just a week and a couple of days away. If you don’t have the time to put a costume together, then go for something simple like this (seemingly) basic black tee. People are always saying how you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Well, this time, you shouldn’t judge a shirt by its exterior because sometimes, they might just surprise you.

There’s something special about this ‘Ask Me About My Zombie Shirt’ T-shirt, and that much we’ve made clear in the image above. When everyone starts saying what a killjoy your are by showing up to the party, just point to the text in front and challenge them to ask you about your shirt. When they do, lift your shirt up. Some guys might think that they’re getting lucky since someone’s about to flash them (not!) but by doing so, you’ll instantly turn yourself into a zombie with a bloody mouth.

Pretty awesome right? The shirt retails for $14.99.

Researcher Claims It’s Possible To Create A Pacemaker Virus

This is some scary stuff. Apparently, in a presentation at the BreakPoint security conference in Melbourne, IOActive researcher Barnaby Jack discussed a vulnerability in a brand of pacemaker that could be used to deliver fatal shocks to their wearer’s hearts. It seems this as-yet-unspecified brand of pacemaker contains a secret wireless backdoor that could be accessed by hackers up to 30 feet away, and which would allow them to either kill immediately or (perhaps more alarmingly) reprogram the pacemaker to turn it into an autonomous source of infection. The wearer could go then around, unknowingly “infecting” other patients and spreading the virus to the population, making them vulnerable to lethal attacks at any moment.

It is indeed a scary situation but is fortunately not one that is necessarily imminent. Barnaby’s type of “white hat” hacking is meant to raise awareness and potentially lead to tighter software security among manufacturers. He hasn’t released any details that would allow less scrupulous people from exploiting this vulnerability, though there’s no mention if the manufacturer in question has rectified the situation yet.

Creepy Freddy Krueger Toilet Tank Cover Will Give You Nightmares

Freddy Krueger Toilet Cover

As if going to the bathroom at night isn’t scary enough (especially for those who are still afraid of the dark), a bunch of horror-loving folks have come up with this absolutely horrifying Freddy Krueger toilet tank cover. It’s made to cover the toilet tank in its entirety, complete with a sinister Freddy Kruger mask and gloves that look dangerously sharp.

Obviously, this would be great to scare the little girls (both figuratively and literally) in your house, but it’s probably not a very good prank to pull if you want to live a long and fruitful life.
