Drink Like a Boss: Jerry Can Stainless Steel Hip Flask

Jerry Can Stainless Steel Hip Flask

Back in the day and even until now, jerry cans are used to transport liquids like gas and water. And now you can fill them up your drink of choice, whether it’s water, juice, soda, or booze, so you can have a swig or two when you’re thirsty. Of course, we’re not talking about the regular-sized containers that can hold up to 20 liters. Rather, we’re talking about this awesome hip flask that looks like a miniature version of the jerry can.

The jerry can flask is fashioned from stainless steel and can hold up to 6 ounces of fuel for your bod. You don’t have to be a GI to appreciate its design. The flask is available online for $13.

Printing Memories: Fujifilm Instax Printer

Fujifilm Instax Printer

Fujifilm’s Instax series of cameras are basically the newer generation of Polaroids, except they give you smaller-sized prints and are available in a wide assortment of colors, shapes, and sizes. Taking the concept of instant memories one step further, they’ve recently unveiled the Instax Printer. Granted, portable photo printers aren’t exactly anything new, but this one is still worth having for people who dig Instax and instant pictures.

The Instax Printer hooks up with most smartphones to print photos from Facebook, Instagram, or your camera roll on actual film. Just fire up the printer’s companion app to sync and edit photos, add filters, and print them. The printer retails for $200 and will be released on June 1st.

TravelMate: All the Cutlery You Need In a Neat Package

TravelMate

Eating takeout using the flimsy plastic spoon and fork that most restaurants hand out sucks, especially if they break or show signs of bending the moment you scoop or try to slice up some grub. Cutlery sets are on-the-go dining are readily available, and one particularly eye-catching and practice option is the TravelMate.

It comes with a detachable fork and a 4.87-inch blade knife with a Paperstone handle. The fork is a multi-tool in itself as well, since it’s also a bottle opener, can opener, flathead screwdriver, and grill scraper. Cut meat, slice veggies, spread butter, turn stuff over on the grill–it seems like there’s little the TravelMate can’t do.

It’s priced at ~$50.

Small Speaker, Great Sound: Aiia Ssssspeaker

Aiia Ssssspeaker

Big sound, small speakers. That’s probably what best describes the Aiia Ssssspeaker. At first glance, the speaker with the unusual name doesn’t really look like much of a speaker. In fact, it probably looks more like a hockey puck when it’s not in use. But pull the collapsible cone out from the base of the speaker and get ready to get lost in your favorite tunes.

One major downside? Aiia isn’t built with Bluetooth so you won’t be able to hook it up with your music player or smartphone wirelessly; instead, you’ll have to hook it up via the 3.5mm auxiliary port.

Check Out Dart, The World’s Smallest Laptop Adapter

Dart Laptop Charger

If you work out of the office a lot, then chances are you’ve had to deal with lugging a bulging laptop bag around because of the bulky adapter that it came with. Leaving it really isn’t an option, considering there’s only so much–or rather, so little–that you can do on limited power. It’s a problem people face, day in and day out, and it’s one that the folks behind Dart pretty much solved with its release.

Dart is dubbed as the “world’s smallest laptop adapter” and that might very well be true if you look at the images of it. It’s roughly four times smaller than the average 65W charger, with a volume of only 2.5 cubic inches. It comes with a six foot cable and comes with an integrated USB port, allowing you to charge your laptop and another device, like you tablet, at the same time.

TravelCard Smartphone Charger Fits In Your Wallet

TravelCard Charger0

There are many credit card-shaped charger adapters out there, but no actual chargers that fit right into your wallet–until now, that is. The TravelCard is slightly thicker than your average credit card and it holds up to five hours of extra talk time, 4.5 hours of Internet use, or 98 hours of standby time. That’s pretty impressive considering its compact size.

Using it is as simple as 1-2-3: just fish it out of your wallet, plug it into your phone’s hub, and you’re good to go. It comes built with either an integrated Lightning or Micro USB charging cable, so it’s compatible with most iOS and Android devices.Continue Reading

Small Mic, Big Voice: Micro Karaoke Player

Micro Karaoke

You’re no Bruno Mars but you’re no William Hung either. But like the two, you have a passion for music and love to sing. If you can’t wait until you get home before belting out a few choice lines from your favorite song, then here’s something you’ll no doubt enjoy having: the Micro Karaoke Player. As the name suggests, it’s a handy karaoke player that’s small enough to fit into your bag or pocket.

Okay, so it’s essentially just a mini microphone that comes with echo features, but it’s the closest to on-the-go karaoke that you can get. The Micro Karaoke Player is meant to be connected to your music player and you can hook up earphones or speakers for the output.

From the earphones attached to the “mini karaoke”, you can hear a combination of the music from the music player and your own voice complete with echo through the microphone. It is as if you are singing the song you love at your favorite karaoke bar.

Just make sure you have the songs pre-loaded onto your mobile device or music player. The Micro Karaoke Player is available for $38.90.

Case Hobo is the Swiss Army Knife for On-the-Go Diners

Case Hobo Knife

You can eat most take-out food with nothing but your hands and maybe some tissue, but there are some that can only be enjoyed with utensils (spaghetti, for one). Nothing is more infuriating than getting ready to chow down, only to realize that they forgot to include plastic utensils with your food.

Cue the Case Hobo, which is like a Swiss Army knife for people who eat on the go a lot, since it folds out to reveal a spoon, a fork, and a knife. With an amber bone handle and the utensils made from surgical steel, this is as fancy as portable utensils can get. Obviously you won’t be able to use all three at once, but it sure beats having to use your hands.

The Case Hobo is priced at $70.
