This Is A Batman Motorcycle Helmet

Batman Motorcycle Helmet - DOT Approved

The motorcycle riders among you with a special hankering for all things Batman will surely get a kick out of the above helmet. It’s made by HelmetDawg and is fully DOT certified, meaning you can don it on your bike while still safe in the knowledge that at least your head will come out of an accident somewhat intact. It’s based off GMax’s GM48S helmet, but the ears and other custom parts are made from “a breakthrough proprietary elastomer (polymer) formula” and are not just cheap stuck-on additions. The rest of the helmet has a bunch of very neat features that people might want in such a product, like adequate venting and room for a communication system. Considering it’s $325, we’re going to call it a decent deal.

Angry Brands: Famous Logos Invaded by Angry Birds

Angry Brands

If you play Angry Birds or just watched their intro video, then you already know why the birds are so peeved at the green alien pigs. That back story has nothing to do with  Russia-based artist Yakushev Grigory‘s gallery called “Angry Brands” though, where he recreates a bunch of famous logos featuring the well-known and ever-angry birds. Love them or hate them, I think the impact the franchise has made is here to stay.

From Starbucks and Pringles to Apple and Chrome, it seems like Grigory’s gallery has it all. Or does it? Continue Reading

Yes, This Dude’s Driving an Upside-Down Camaro

Upside Down Camaro

No, there’s nothing wrong with your computer screen and your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. This guy here is really driving an upside-down Camaro during a tongue-in-cheek racing event called 24 Hours of LeMONS. It’s essentially an endurance race for $500 cars.

The car pictured above combines elements of a bunch of two well-known vehicles: Chevy’s Camaro and Ford’s Festiva. It looks like the former on the outside, while running on the four cylinder, 1.3-liter engine of the latter on the inside.

Wheelbarrow with Internal Combustion Engine: Can Your Wheelbarrow Go Faster Than This?

world's fastest wheelbarrow

Hold your horses–er, barrows–because this might just be the fastest motor-powered wheelbarrow you’ll ever see!

Apparently modding wheelbarrows is a thing now, at least in Poland, where one dude decided to hook his barrow up with what sounds like a trail bike motor to give it that extra boost. It’s probably all for novelty’s sake. I mean, it’s admittedly pretty cool to have a wheelbarrow you can ride like a Segway, right?

Five Outrageous Mods That Every Car Owner Should Never Do

Cars Blast Off

Dudes do the darndest things to their cars. There are some who are so obsessed with modding that they constantly work on their cars until they no longer look like cars that can be safely driven on the road with children on board. Others aren’t as extreme, although their vehicles look more like scrap junk instead of cars when they’re done with their custom mods.

It’s time to draw the line between a good car mod and a really bad mod, starting with the first one above. One exhaust is normal, two might look cool, three might still be acceptable, but more than that is just overkill.

King of All Motorcycles: Red Baron Bike is Powered by an Airplane Engine

Red Baron Motorcycle

Now this is one roarin’ motorcycle!

The Red Baron is a souped up bike that had its engine pulled out and replaced with a Rotec Radial R3600, which is a 150-horsepower, nine-cylinder engine. This type of engine was most commonly used as a replacement engine during the World War I-era airplanes. The bike is Frank Ohle’s baby, who spent 18 months turning it from concept into reality.

Double Front-Ender Car Lets You Drive It Either Way–Although Not At the Same Time

Double Front Ender Car

I have never seen a car like this double front-ended Ford until today. Have you?

This unique but not-very-practical vehicle was recently put on sale on Craigslist. It’s located near the California-Oregon border, in case you’re interested and want to check it out in person. Dubbed as the ‘clown car’, this custom Ford can be driven either way, although I don’t think you can do so at the same time.

World’s Awesomest Mom Mods Her Kid’s Push Car into a Time-Traveling DeLorean

Kid DeLorean

When I was a kid, I wished everyday that I’d get a DeLorean for my birthday. Instead, I got a Barbie doll, but I was still happy anyway. Regardless, I’m still bowling over with envy at little Cooper because he’s going to be riding around in a smashing DeLorean this Halloween, all thanks to his awesome dad mom* named Cory.

Cory probably wanted to make her little boy something extra this Halloween, so why not a DeLorean sort-of replica from Back to the Future? It might not be able to travel back through time, but it has the power to make everyone who sees it (aka. you and me) to go back in time and remember the good old days. And what good old days they were.

Hit the break to check out more awesome pics of Cooper’s modded push car!

Hennessy Makes A Caddy Right With The VR1200 Twin-Turbo V8

Long gone are the days that the word Cadillac is automatically associated with a nice present Jerry Seinfeld would make to his Florida-bound parents. With the CTS-V, the Caddy has already gone from tepid to torrid, and automobile tuner extraordinaire Hennessy has taken that platform and pumped it full of otherworldly steroids. The result is the VR1200, a machine so fantastically fast that it reaches 60mph in just 2.9 seconds and flies through the quarter mile in 10.2s. It does this thanks to its 7.0L twin-turbo V8 that pumps out an astonishing 1,066 rear wheel HP along with 964 lb-ft of rear wheel torque. If you’re so foolish as to keep the pedal to the metal until it reaches its maximum, you’ll be travelling at 242 mph, or just 10mph short of the Bugatti Veyron’s early records.

Aside from 15.1inch carbon discs and massive Brembo callipers, the VR1200 has carbon fiber accents throughout. Interior luxury touches include an Alcantara layer for the steering wheel as well as upgraded leather and stitching.

So… the price tag? We… don’t know. But they’re only making 12, so it’ll be one of those items that if you have to ask, you can’t afford.
