Plazmatic Flameless Lighter Uses A Plasma Beam To Light Your Smokes, Is 30% Off On Today’s DotD

plazmatic-lighter

No matter how “wind resistant” lighters claim to be, usually if you blow hard enough, the flame will extinguish. That’s why the Plazmatic Flameless Lighter is interesting: it doesn’t use fire at all. Instead, it creates a hot pasta arc between two electrodes, with which you can get your cigarettes going in any conditions.

Sometimes it’s just not the time or place to play with fire—luckily the Plazmatic is here to make lighting up a breeze even when it’s literally breezy. This gorgeous little stainless steel magic-maker lights up via high-degree output beam, no fluids or gas involved. Conveniently recharge with a USB cable and save the equivalent of 50 disposable lighters throughout the life of one Plazmatic—plus with a lifetime warranty, you’ll be sure to milk it for every light.

– Works w/ water pipes, pipes or any-size cigar
– Shoots a water-resistant & windproof heat beam
– Features a stainless steel exterior
– Built to be lightweight & ultra durable
– Recharges via USB
– Lights 100+ times for each hour charge
– Butane & chemical free

Also, since it’s shaped like a Zippo lighter, you can take the inner core and put it in any of your custom Zippo cases for some added personality. It’s a great product, and it’s on special at $34.99, down from $50!

Soto Pocket Torch Turns Any Regular Lighter Into Powerful Windproof Torch

soto-pocket-torch

Did you know that that disposable lighter you bought for a couple bucks can actually be turned into a powerful, windproof torch capable of outputting a 2,300ºF flame. You just have to get the Soto Pocket Torch pictured above, and insert your disposable lighter in it. It won’t work with any lighter; they do have to be of a certain size and type, but it’s not brand specific. And at $20 for the device, it’s a really cheap way to light stuff on fire around the house.

QuitBit Is A Smart Lighter That Helps You Quit Smoking

Lighter-Side-Since-Last

When it comes to quitting your cancer stick addiction, any method that works is the best method. When you grow tired of patches, chewing gums, and meditation, maybe you can give the QuitBit a try. It’s a lighter that uses a heating coil to light your smoke, while also doing its best to help you stop. For one, it displays a host of information, like how many cigs you’ve smoked, how long since the last one, etc. And once you’ve connected it to your smartphone and determined what your plan of action is, it’ll simply stop working if you’re exceeding it. You decided you were going to go from 25 cigarettes a day to 20 in two weeks? Well, don’t try to light up a 21st because you won’t have a light. Oh sure, you could just ask someone, but maybe that extra speed bump, coupled with some willpower, will be enough. Maybe.

It’ll cost you a $79 pledge to find out.

Bison Airlighter Turbocharges Your Firestarting

Airlighter1350

Getting a good fire going requires two things: a source of heat and good airflow. The Bison Airlighter provides both at once. It’s a butane torch that provides a 4 inch flame that’ll ignite just about any combustible material in seconds. But more importantly, an integrated fan will also deliver a flow of air that should help you spread the fire around. Gone are the days of cramming your face into the smoke in order to blow on it, or fanning the flames with an old newspaper. You’ll have a pile of burning coals in seconds and won’t keep anyone at the tailgate party waiting. It’s $99 for the Airlighter, plus $10 for a can of Butane if you don’t already have one.

The Looftlighter Could Be A Pyromaniac’s Dream

By David Ponce

Don’t go lighting fires. It’s not cool. Unless you’re trying to get a BBQ or fireplace going. Then you could use the Looftlighter. It’s kind of a heat gun, except it blows out air at 1,200+ degrees and can get pretty much any combustible material flaming in seconds. No need for lighter fluid. It’s relatively safe as it only works when you press the button and has a safety casing that will cool down in a few seconds.

This has been around for a while, it seems, but I can’t find too much coverage on it so it can’t hurt to let you guys know about it. And while BBQ season might be coming to an end for some, hot fireplace season is just around the corner, right? The Looftlighter is $80.
