For the Ultimate BFFs: Batman and Robin Necklaces

Batman Robin BFF Necklace

If most friendship-themed rings and necklaces out there are too corny for you, then you might want to check out this particular one inspired none other than Batman. The necklaces feature two pendants that, when joined together, form Batman’s iconic bat insignia. There’ll probably be an argument about who gets the Batman half because, let’s face it, nobody wants to be Robin (aka just the sidekick).

The Batman and Robin BFF necklaces are being sold by Etsy seller VisionQuest for $90.

Pizzasaurus Necklace: Because Dinosaurs Love Pizza, Too

Pizza Dinosaur Necklace

Dinosaurs are awesome. So is pizza. And what do you get when you combine both? The equally awesome Pizzasaurus necklace by Snash Jewelry. The pendant essentially features a particularly scary-looking triceratops (at least, I think it’s a triceratops) chomping on a gigantic slice of pizza (considering the size of that dinosaur on a true-to-life scale.)

The heavy-duty pendant hangs on a 24-inch chain and can be rocked by both guys and gals. It’s available in antique gold or silver plating and is available online for $144.

Scented Necklaces Smell Like Breakfast, Smell Like Home

Breakfast Necklace-C

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives you energy so you can actually get some work done before refueling over lunch or during your afternoon coffee break. It’s a meal that some people ignore because they can’t wake up early enough, while others forget because it was never a habit to begin with.

Well, it’s time to break that cycle and start a healthier habit of waking up early and having some grub before heading off to work or school. For the latter forgetful group, what better reminded is there than these delectable necklaces from Tiny Hands?Continue Reading

Check Out This Batman and Harley Quinn-Themed Engagement Ring

Batman Harley Quinn Ring

Most guys go to great lengths to either find or design an engagement ring that their future partner will love. Whether it’s something that suits her personality or a ring that captures something that the couple share, it’s only truly perfect when it was a labor of love and when it symbolizes a relationship that will be able to stand the test of time and adversity.

That ring for Daniel Maffett happens to be this Batman and Harley Quinn-themed engagement ring that was made by Tom Sayers of Sayers Jewelers.

High-Tech Fashion: Earbud Earrings

Earbug Earrings

When tech and fashion collide, this is what you get: earbud earrings. They’re basically earphones with a dangling bird decor right behind the buds, so they double as earrings when you put them on. This is one of those things that people will absolutely love or hate when they see it. So which side are you on?

Personally, I think it’s a fun way of jazzing up earbuds. Colored and bejewelled earbuds are already available in the market, so this isn’t the only way to do it, but it’s certainly unusual. That said, I can see how many people will dislike this simply because of how it looks and the fact that it can add some additional (and unwanted) weight on each of the buds.

They’re available online from Maxiga for $27.

Mini Diorama Rings: Wearable Art For Your Digits

Diorama Rings

Jewelry is essentially wearable art. But something that’s more “art” than “jewelry” are these mini diorama rings by designer Clive Roddy. Each piece is actually made of three rings, with each layer sporting a piece of the final design. The rings are laser-cut from high-quality birch plywood and can be worn together (for the full effect) or alone (if you’re feeling conservative).

They’re available in a variety of designs: House Rings (three houses that are different sizes), Tree Rings, Mountain Rings, and Wave Rings. Personally, the last one is my favorite. Hit the break for images of the other designs.

Something Old, Something Otherworldly: Meteorite and Dinosaur Leg Bone Wedding Ring

Dinosaur Bone Wedding Ring

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. This is one of the wedding traditions most brides go through because first of all, there’s no harm in having all of those elements around at the wedding. Second, why tempt bad luck when it’s easy enough, anyway? One thing that happens to be old, new, and borrowed (but not blue) is this meteorite and dinosaur leg bone wedding ring.

As the name implies, it was created using bits of meteorite and dinosaur leg bone set in gold and titanium. The unique ring was designed and created by Distinctly Johan, giving a strange albeit really cool twist to the traditional wedding band.

They have a variety of other unusual and truly unique rings on sale. This particular one with the meteorite and dinosaur bone costs $1,085.

LEGO Brick Ring Is Quirky, Not Altogether Useful

brick-lego-ring

It’s not that rings should be useful or anything; they’re adornments after all. But since the 2011-old LEGO Brick Ring does come with two LEGO-sized protrusions you’re going to be tempted to attach LEGO pieces to it. And that’s when you start “using” the ring, only there isn’t much you can actually do with it other than to perch bricks and Minifigs on it, to your heart’s content. That’s enough to sell us on it though, especially given the reasonable $41 price tag for a piece described as “bronze-infused stainless steel with visible print lines and a rough feel.” To be honest, it looks really nice and the pictures don’t do it justice, so hit the jump for a video to get a better idea what it looks like.
