This’ll Scare the Crap Out of You: Horror Story Toilet Paper

Horror Story Toilet Paper

Done reading all of the books and comics you’ve stashed in the bathroom? Then here’s one bathroom reader that might just literally scare the crap out of you: the Horror Story toilet paper roll. Sorry if that was a bit too graphic for you, but I just couldn’t resist. This is basically a roll of toilet paper with a scarier-than-though story printed on it.

The horrific tales are penned by Koji Suzuki, who’s known for writing the “Ring” and “Spiral” series. They’re sold in sets of three, with each one featuring a different story.

They’re available online for £9.99 (or about $17.)

They’re Out to Get You: Horror Movie Action Figures

Horror Movie Action Figures

You probably shouldn’t get kids any one of these action figures–unless you want to give them the gift of nightmares. The figures from Funko’s Horror Series features some of the most horror-inducing characters from incredibly popular horror franchises, like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Pinhead.

Each one is only 3.75 inches tall, but think of that as being almost four inches more than you can take of pure horror. That Sam figure is particularly creepy.

They retail for $10 each.

If Heels Could Kill: Iron Shoes, Krueger Heels, and More

The Iron Shoes

The shoes are deadly, in both the figurative and literal sense. For the former, that’s because they’re inspired from elements with particularly deadly themes, such as Freddy Krueger for the Krueger heels. The latter is true because most of them are sky high and will probably give you a bad sprain if you walk around a little too carelessly while wearing them.

Aside from Freddie-inspired shoes, the most impressive from the bunch has to be the Iron Shoes, which is inspired by none other than Game of Thrones, where death is unfortunately all too common. You can check out the rest of the shoes from the series after the break.Continue Reading

Mondo 237 Clothing

Remember the honeycomb carpet pattern outside Room 237 in The Shining? If you were busy covering your eyes or screaming your head off, then you probably didn’t notice the distinct pattern on the carpet that has now spawned an entire clothing line called Mondo 237, which includes knit sweaters, cardigans, scarves, scarf, ski masks, a door mat, and an area rug.

The pattern on the fabric used was designed by artist Sal Giliberto.Continue Reading

Til Death Do Us Part: Bride of Chucky Wedding Cake

Bride of Chucky Cake

Some love stories end happily ever after while others eventually (and unfortunately) become horror stories. Let’s just hope the wedding cake the couple chose won’t be indicative of the kind of marriage they’ll have, as in the case of the newlyweds who had the Little Cherry Cake Company make them a Bride of Chucky wedding cake.

It’s bloody, horrific, and all sorts of scary, with Chucky and his bride sitting on top of three tiers of cake. Hit the break for another view of the cake and close-up views of the details.

Death by Chocolate: Monstrous ‘Kisses of Death’ Sculptures

Kisses of Death

These sculptures are the stuff of nightmares. Inspired by the popular Hershey’s Kisses that are a staple every Halloween for treats, artist Andrew Bell came up with monstrous sculptures called “Kisses of Death” that look like Hershey’s signature chocolate. The big difference is that Andrew’s kisses have a not-so-pleasant surprise on the inside: sharp, ferocious-looking teeth that look like they’ve already been painfully sunk into something…or someone.

The sculptures are currenly on display at the Bewitching III group exhibition at Stranger Factory.Continue Reading
