Home Never Smelled So Delicious: Cinnabon Air Freshener

Cinnabon Air Freshener

The stench of mildew and other household odors don’t mix well with fruity or flowery-scented fresheners. While Air Wick’s Cinnabon-scented air freshener won’t exactly make poop smells yummy, it’s a welcome change from the usual freshener scents available. The scent is described as being “one-of-a-kind cinnamon and cream cheese frosting that make Cinnabon cinnamon rolls so unforgettable.”

Eau de cinnamon ana cream cheese frosting with a spritz or two of this? Yes, please.

The Force is With This 30-Foot ‘Star Wars’ Tapestry

Star Wars Tapestry

If you love something, then whatever you do, no matter how tiring it is, becomes a labor of love. This is the case with artist Aled Lewis and the Coruscant Tapestry, the 30-foot Star Wars-themed tapestry that he knitted over a span of six months. It’s crammed with Jedi goodness and loads of Wookies, droids, wampas, Sith Lords, and of course, everyone’s favorite grand master Jedi, Yoda, along with highlights from the franchise that die-hard fans will be able to identify in a jiffy.

Every stitch on the Klostern fabric was made by hand and Aled’s attention to detail is amazing. Not only that, but he also sewed in some quotes written in Aurebesh.Continue Reading

Prism Nightlight: Teetering From Light to Darkness and Back Again

Prism Nightlight

The Prism nightlight isn’t exactly a prism, although it’s shaped like one. I think it should be renamed as the see-saw nightlight because of how it works. There are no switches or anything, and no, the light isn’t equipped with sensors so that it automatically turns on or off. The switch is actually the entire lamp itself.

Just pivot it to one side to turn it on and back to the other to turn it off–like a see-saw.

Touché, En Garde: Fly Sword Swatter

Fly Sword

Mosquitoes are carriers of various diseases and resulting bites from females are annoyingly itchy. You could go for one of those electric fly swatters that look like smaller versions of badminton racket, where a push of a button is enough to zap the pesky insects to death. But if you’ve ever gotten an electric shock from using one of these things (I have, and boy, does it sting), then you might want to go back to old-school fly swatters– and they don’t come any cooler than the Fly Sword Swatter.

As the name implies, the swatter has a handle that looks like that of a sword. The actual swatter part, in turn, looks like a shield. Touché!

The Fly Sword Swatter is available online for $13.

The Only Giant Stash That Won’t Get You Arrested

Giant Stash Pillow

Designer Ryan Christensen has a thing for coming up with unusual art, and the Giant Stash pillowcase is an epitome of his bizarre style. As the name implies, it’s essentially a bag of ganja of epic proportions that’ll fit most pillows snugly. It was personal project at first that he brought to Kickstarter after seeing people’s positive reactions towards it.

Awhile back I decided to make a pillowcase that looked like a plus size zippy full of cannabis. Days later I had several varieties. After getting huge smiles and great reactions from people, I realized how much fun they were to have around, so I decided to keep working on them.

Portable Door Jammer Gives You Extra Security, Wherever You Are

Portable Door Jammer

How safe are you in your hotel room? There’s nothing to worry about if you’re booked in a five-star hotel but if you’re on a tight budget and went for the inn with the cheapest rates in the area, then you might find that to be a major concern come nightfall. That’s what happened to me when I traveled with a few friends last year to attend a concert. Halfway through the night, we heard loud banging in outside the halls in the dead of night, and one of my friends swore she heard someone try to open the door.

Suffice to say, we checked out the next morning and paid double for a fancier (and much safer) hotel. If you find yourself traveling to places that aren’t as safe or secure as you’d like, then it’s high time you got something like the portable door jammer as an added safety measure. It works with most doors and setting it up is pretty simple. Just slide it at the bottom of the door and crank out the arm until it’s secure and snug against the floor surface.

People on the outside will be able to see the jammer’s little arm, so maybe that’ll serve as a deterrent of sorts since they’ll have a more difficult time trying to sneak in or force their way into your room.

The Portable Door Jammer is available online for $48.

Update: Found a link on Amazon for $23.50. Link below updated. -Ed.

Eat This: Geometric Molds For the Best Muffin Tops Ever

Geometric Muffin Tops

Nobody wants to hear about muffin tops, especially those who are particularly conscious about their figures. But “muffin tops” don’t merely stand for body parts that most people want to get rid of; they also stand for actual muffin tops. If you’re a huge baking buff and want to give your muffins a bit more personality and pizzazz, then these geometric molds will do the trick.

Just pour the batter into the bottom tin and top it with the Bakeshape muffin toppers before popping them into the over. The results are freshly-baked muffin goodness that look store-bought because of their fancy schmancy shapes.
