It’s that time of year again, where we do our best to bring you some swag: we like to call it The Holidays! And today we’re announcing our first giveaway of the season, a 10 inch Thrive tablet from Toshiba Canada. It runs Android 3.1 and has a replaceable battery, a USB port, an SD card port and yes, even HDMI. It retails for $379 but it could be yours for free just by entering this particular giveaway. “Was it me? Did I win?” I know these are the questions on everyone’s mind. Or at least everyone that entered our contest to win an ARCHOS 70, that is. Well if you go by the alias “jazzman55”, then the answer to both questions is “yes.” Your cries to be picked were heard by the random number-generating gods of the internet, and your number was selected. Another Friday is here, which means it’s time to give away the three mice, as promised. 49 people entered, and while I thought a battle royale would be a cool way to pick the winners, our legal department informed me that it wouldn’t be a wise decision. Instead, I resorted to a random number generator (considerably less exciting, I know), and it chose Jason Kobilka, raph304, and atlcog as the winners. Each will be receiving a Whirl from Smartfish.
