Deal Of The Day: $639 Off On Dell XPS 17 Core i7

By David Ponce

The Dell XPS 17 is a large laptop. Not necessarily a heavy one, but at 17 inches, it’s a lot bigger than the Ultrabooks that are all the rage these days. But larger does mean you can fit more stuff in it, and in this case, we’re looking at a pretty beefy Core i7-2670M 2.2GHz Quad-core Laptop powered by 8GB RAM and with a 750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive. Other features include 1080p LCD, Backlit Keyboard, 3GB GeForce GT 555M & Blu-ray Burner. And while all this would normally cost $1,818, it’s now $1,179 after a $639 rebate.

Deal Of The Day: $383 Off On Dell Latitude E5520

By David Ponce

The E5520 from Dell is a business laptop. This can mean a few things, but usually it stands for larger, uglier laptops with more robust features. One reviewer had this to say about it: “The Latitude E5520 is a worthy expansion of Dell’s business notebook range. First rate input devices in connection with the high-end and plain design make the Latitude E5520 a solid office laptop.” So there you have it, office dwellers. Today’s deal is for the Core i3 configuration, and would usually sell for $882. It’s $499 after today’s $383 rebate.

So aside from two monitors you get a desktop computer to go along. It’s the Vostro 260s and has a 3.3GHz Intel 2nd Gen Core i3 processor along with “4GB RAM, Intel H61 chipset, Intel HD graphics, VGA and HDMI outputs, Wireless-N 8-in-1 card reader, TrippLite HDMI to DVI Gold Digital Video Cable, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS and more.”

Deal Of The Day: $525 Off On Dell Inspiron 15r

By David Ponce

Let’s face it, the Inspiron is a boring laptop. This one tries to liven things up a bit by having interchangeable lids. How exciting. But let’s also be honest: you buy Inspirons because they’re cheap. Today’s deal is a Core i5-2450M 2.5GHz Dual-core affair, along with “includes 6GB RAM, 750GB Hard Drive, 1-year warranty, Wireless-N, DVD burner, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS and more.” But that’s not all. They’re also throwing in a Canon ELPH 100 HS digital camera, 36-months McAfee SecurityCenter, and Adobe Elements 9.0 Photoshop and Premiere. They’d normally want to separate you from $1,149 for this, but today it’s $625, after a decent $525 off.

Deal Of The Day: $120 Off On Dell Inspiron 15

By David Ponce

There’s a lot of talk these days about Ultrabooks. They’re pretty sexy and stuff, but like most things sexy, they’re also pretty small and expensive. There are other laptops on the market that are neither, and the Dell Inspiron 15 is one of these. At 15.6 inches, it’s much bigger than any Ultrabook. And at $399, after today’s $120 rebate, it’s also much, much cheaper. For this price you get a Core i3-390M 2.66GHz Dual-core processor and “4GB DDR3 memory, 500GB Hard Drive, 8X DVD+/-RW, 802.11n WiFi, VGA Webcam, 6-cell battery, 3-in-1 card reader, Intel HD Graphics, MS Office 2010 Starter Edition and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.” A bunch of stuff for not a whole bunch of money, basically.

Deal Of The Day: Save $1,002 On Samsung 55 Inch LED TV Bundle

By David Ponce

I bought a 55 inch Samsung LED HDTV over two years ago. I paid through the nose for it. With credit. So I’m still paying. But it was a great purchase, and I don’t regret it. Prices sure have come down since then, and this particular TV not only packs an expansive 55 inches of viewing real estate, it also comes with a Blu-Ray player and a $400 gift card. The deal is on a Dell website, so the gift card is on Dell products. This is going for $2,197, about $1,000 cheaper than it should be.

Deal Of The Day: $150 Off On Dell Inspiron One 2305

By David Ponce

Even though we don’t talk quite as much about them as we used to, All-In-ones are still on the market, and they set ill represent decent deals. Especially when their prices drop to $450 after a $150 rebate. That would be for the Dell Inspiron One 2305, a 23 inch all-in-one that features a 2.8GHz Dual-core AMD processor with “4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive, integrated 8X DVD burner, 802.11n WiFi, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS, 1-year warranty and more.”

Deal Of The Day: $250 Off Alienware M14x

By David Ponce

Alienware used to be one of those brands you spoke of in hushed tones. “Hey, check out that dude, he’s got an Alienware!” “He must be loaded!” And so on… But then Alienware sold out to Dell and while they still make ok products, they seem to have lost their edge. That’s ok though, others will take their place (thinking of Razer, for example). And the upshot is that prices on Alienware laptops are not what they used to be. Take the M14x pictured above. It’s got a Core i7-2670QM 2.2GHz Quad-core CPU with a 3GB GeForce GT 555M graphics card, 6GB RAM, and a 750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive. Usually this would be $1,399, but after today’s $250 rebate, it’s $1,149. Shipped, of course, free of charge.
