From the makers of abundant audio goodnesss, Pioneer, comes the DEH-P810 Car Stereo Deck. Not only does this stereo play CDs, WMAs, and AACs, but also features Bluetooth. With this, you can do fancy bluetooth handsfree in your car, just like expensive Lexuses… but in your ’96 Honda Civic. Even cooler is that this device also supports A2DP so you can “stream” your audio in stereo from a Bluetooth enabled MP3 player or mobile phone.
Unfortunately folks, I could not find out more due to my new laptop not having all the language packs installed yet so its out there for you to find out. I apologize, gomen.

I’m quite certain that the main issue facing MP3 player designers is just what combination of features to cram into the latest model. Of course, it always makes sense to include something that supports your product’s intended marketing position. So, for instance, if you’re making a sportsy mp3 player, it makes perfect sense to include a pedometer, right?
Well, that’s exactly what Oregon Scientific‘s done with the MP121. So, aside from having enough memory to store around 30 hours of music (1GB), and including an FM tuner… you’re now able to find out just how effective your morning jog was. Oh, and while they were at it, they decided to waterproof the device, so you can go for for a swim with it. It even comes with the waterproof headphones.
For $190, it’s a decent deal. I’m not loving the orange, but no one asked for my opinion.

Nothing goes together so well than chocolate and mp3 players. Sadly, this one is inedible, and comes with a puny 128mb of memory. Hell, there’s even little information on the formats it plays, battery life or whatever else might matter in the world of chocolate-mp3-players.
So, there you have it. A triangular shaped music player, with the Toblerone brand (illegally, no doubt) slapped on it. Somehow though, I don’t think the candybar’s lawyers will bother cracking down on this Hong Kong retailer.

Only in Japan do you get a cute little fish-shaped flash drive/MP3 player with the purchase of a notebook. I say America has taken all the fun out of making a hole in your wallet.
Anyway, in Japan, should you purchase a Dynabook CX, you will also get this very nice looking MP3 player with 512MB that supports MP3 and WMA files, but not DRMd WMA. On the belly of the beast, there’s an LCD screen for song info and such, and regular controls.

Okay, I know that Valentine’s Day is long gone but you can always try to impress your better half with the new heart-shaped Kiss MP3 Player, from Korean company Zakang. This little player is encrusted with 23 SWAROVSKI crystals (mmm, wonder if they come out!). So am I missing something? Oh yeah it has a storage capacity ranging from 128MB to 1GB and data transfer takes place via USB. You can check out the product page for more details and brush up your Korean when you are at it.

Yeah. I’m not gonna give you any sort of background on this, folks. Some of you, who came of purer times and cleaner pastures might want to remain that way. For those of us unfortunate enough to have witnessed the unspeakable horror of Goatse, this picture should suffice.
It’s the iGoatse. It’s an iPod skin. Comes in colors, and is available for pre-order. Might be a joke. Might not be. Fun, huh?

The latest MP3 player on the block is the TCLAST C150 produced by a Chinese company. (Don?t you just love the Chinese?) So what?s so great about it you may ask? Well it?s the first player with a Dual Core chip, the same kind found in a PC, though slightly modified in order to improve signal to noise ratio and deliver better audio quality.
Other features include a 1.5 inch TFT LCD capable of displaying 65,000 colors, 512 Onboard memory, 8 equalizer modes, FM tuner, line in recording and MPEG-1 video playback. No word on pricing or availability.

The Soundpet Bear follows in the tradition of toys like iDog, iCat etc and scores a big 10 on the cuteness factor. So what do these cute little things exactly do?
Well, once you put on your mp3 player on the bear it starts grooving and jiving to your favorite music (so, if you ever wanted a dance partner at your disposal, this thing would be really handy). It also has an integrated speaker system for sharing your music and would be available by April in Japan. [Kind of like a furry iDog, then? -Ed.]

Do you have an anger problem and throw things (sometimes digital players) and later regret when you see your precious MP3 Player with the inside pieces on the outside? No need to fret because we have the perfect solution to your problem. And no, it’s not anger management classes (though that ain’t a bad idea either). Meet the new ?semi-indestructible? MP3 player called the Monolith MX7000.
It so indestructible that it can withstand BB gun Bullets (I swear, I am not making this up), a car running over and can be tossed around too (rugby, anyone?). It has decent design with an edgy aluminum finish. It comes in 1GB and 2GB capacity and sports features like FM recording, 19-hour playback time, line-in recording and support to various audio formats. It?s available now and carries a price tag of $200 and $260 respectively.
