World’s First Gold-Plated iPhone 6 is Now Up For Grabs

iPhone 6 Gold

The most blinged-out phone in the market has to be the iPhone. Those with money to burn have commissioned custom iPhones time and time again, adding jewels and crystals and even coating it in precious metals. The iPhone 6 is no exception, as a gold-plated custom version of the phone is now on sale.

Gold & Co., is offering a 24-karat version of the newly-released iPhone 6, and word on the street is that big-name celebrities, athletes (including Floyd Mayweather Jr.), and royalty (some UAE royal family members) are interested in owning one. The basic gold-plated version is priced at $50,000, while the bejeweled ones can go up at $130,000.

All that for a phone with an upgraded version coming in a few quarters or so? Whoa!

Can of Potato Chip Coasters: Yummiest Coasters Ever

Can of Potato Chip Coasters

Go for prevention instead of the cure. Not that water rings are a disease, but they eventually become a pain to clean up once you’ve left them on your coffee table long enough. Prevention has always been to grab a coaster and set it down onto the table before you put your glass down. It’s natural for people to forget (or be too lazy to get up and get one from the kitchen), so the solution comes in this little can.

It’s the coaster of Wavy Chips, and you’ll find a stack of coasters instead of potato chips inside this little canister. Go get your Pringles elsewhere because this can holds nothing but coasters. The quirky packaging lets you leave it right on the table, so it’s within reach anytime anyone needs one.

A can of four wavy chips coasters is priced at $12.99.

Nintendo to Debut 3DS XL That Looks Like a NES Controller

Nintendo 3DS XL NES

A Nintendo 3DS XL that sports the classic look of the NES controller? Yes, please! This isn’t the first time Nintendo has released special edition designs for their 3DS portable gaming consoles, but it’s the first to feature a design of another console instead of a classic character, like Mario or Zelda. The box it comes in brings another bout of nostalgia since it was designed to look like the NES console.

The limited edition 3DS XL will be released with two other designs: the Super Smash Bros 3D XLs (which will come in red and blue) and the Persona Q.

Caloriegasmic: Pizza With French Fry Dough

Pizza With French Fry Dough

There’s nothing like some good ol’ food porn to wind the week down, and what we’ve got here definitely qualifies. It’s pepperoni pizza with a big twist: instead of boring dough, the crust is made out of french fries! That probably ups the calories by a couple thousand or so, but one bite and you’ll probably forget about your diet or your pledge to eat healthier.

A lot of people have tried but failed to make a french fry dough. The folks over at Foodinese finally figured out how to do it and the solution was pretty simple: hold it together with cheese. Lots of cheese.

Serve it with ketchup or ranch, or drizzle more pizza sauce on top and bite into greasy heaven. You can find the recipe here.

PullClean: Pull to Clean Your Hands

PullClean

How often do you wash your hands in a day? Most people are uncertain, but one thing’s for sure: we use our hands a lot. To write, move stuff, open doors, pick something up from the floor, or eat chips– and not necessarily in that order. Who knows, you might be eating grime from the floor with each and every chip that you’re feeding yourself.

Then along came PullClean. It’s a door handle with built-in sanitizer dispensers so you can sanitize your hand each time you pass by or leave the room. Before you write it off as being a mere dispenser, it comes with the Countclean software which takes note of sanitizing rates and the level of sanitizer left in the dispenser.
