Street-Legal Bumper Car: Be the Oldest Kid on the Road

Street Legal Bumper Car

Think you’re too old for bumper cars? Think again. I’m not talking about the small ones that you’ll probably have a difficult time getting into at the local arcade. I’m talking about this 1984 Dodge Colt that was modded to look like a giant bumper car. It isn’t called street-legal for nothing.

The one-of-a-kind vehicle was up for sale on eBay up until a couple of hours ago by aptly-named seller bumpercarguy. At the end of the listing, the highest bidder was willing to shell out $2,938 for the car, but the sale isn’t going to be completed because that amount doesn’t meet the seller’s reserve price.

Dancing Robot iPhone Stand Has Some Pretty Funky Dance Moves

Dancing Robot iPhone Stand

iPhone stands are infinitely more fun if they’re made in Japan. This particular one called the Dancing Face Stand by Takara Tomy dances to the tune of whatever music you choose to play and features your face prominently on your phone’s screen. All you have to do is fire up its companion app called FaceSing, take a photo, choose and set the music, and then watch the bot-like stand do its thing.

Hit the break for a video that shows off the stand in action. It’s silly, it’s oddly adorable, and it’s a whole lot fun.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumored to Come With a New Samsung-Designed Shooter

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

After the release of the Samsung Galaxy S4, people’s attention naturally went to the Galaxy Note. Rumors are rife that the third-generation phablet device might be unveiled at a press event in London later this month. Specifically, on June 20th.

You can expect Samsung to make notable upgrades to the device. The camera has been the main focus of speculation, with earlier sources saying that it will come with a 13-megapixel shooter. New reports now indicate that Samsung has been working on new features for the Note 3′s shooter. This was purportedly revealed by a Samsung executive, who said: “We are pondering various technologies at this stage – for example, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and shutter functions. But, nothing has yet to be confirmed, so we cannot conclusively say that those functions will be added to the Galaxy Note 3.”

Raw Fashion: Meat Bags, Shoes, and Accessories

Meat Handbag

Raw doesn’t always translate into cutting edge. But that might be the case with this very unusual collection by artist Andrea Hasler that features meat handbags, accessories, and shoes. In case you’re wondering, she didn’t use real meat to come up with this series. She used a special type of wax instead that mimicked the look of raw meat.

Knowing that doesn’t really lessen the ick factor, does it?

Climate-Controlled Box of Bacon: The World’s Most Tasty Gift

Climate Controlled Bacon

No meat has ever garnered the same massive fandom that bacon has. It’s meaty, it’s smoky, it’s tasty, and you could cook it so that it’s chewy, crunchy, or somewhere in between. You could grill it with meat to make the tastiest steaks ever, or throw a couple of strips into your burger to make it infinitely better.

Father’s day is fast approaching, so if you’re stumped on what gift to get your dad, then here’s an idea for you: how about climate-controlled boxes filled with tasty strips of bacon by Oscar Meyer?

These Giant DSLR Lens Are For Sitting, Not Shooting

DSLR Chair

The first time I saw my brother-in-law cry was when he sat on his fisheye lens after a particularly long shoot. Suffice to say, while his behind was perfectly fine, his lens were not. The second time was when his daughter grabbed his new lens from his bag and proceeded to play catch with her imaginary friend. You can just imagine how that scenario ended.

Breaking your lens is something you won’t ever have to worry about with Spanish design studio Monoculo ginormous DSLR reflex lenses, though. That’s because they’re (clearly) not actual lenses, but stools that were designed and created to look like one.

Sloth-Facing is a Meme That Turns Famous Personalities Into Sloths

Sloth-Facing

Doctor Who doesn’t look so good, but don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s just been transformed into a sloth, that’s all. But you shouldn’t expect any sloth-themed episodes of Doctor Who soon, though, because this was the handiwork of Redditor treverhaas.

He calls it Sloth-Facing, and it’s a new meme he started after editing images of a bunch of well-known personalities on Photoshop. You can hit the jump for more sloth-ified celebrities.

Concept Coca-Cola Can: Share Happiness…Literally

Concept Coke

Coca-Cola is all about sharing happiness. So why don’t they turn these concept Coke cans into a reality to make that slogan applicable on a more literal note?

Ad agency Ogilvy & Mather Singapore originally came up with the idea of these two-part soda cans that can be twisted and separated into two. That way, you can keep one half for yourself and share the other with your best mate. The cans are currently being handed out by the “Happiness Trucks” that are making the rounds in Singapore, although they’re probably limited promotional cans which won’t be sold commercially.
