OhGizmo! Review: The Prima Vaporizer

Untitled

Today I am fortunate enough to be reviewing another of the latest generation of portable vaporizers, the Vapir Prima. Many people who are content with their original vapes tend to jump to the conclusion that these newer vaporizers are just marketing gimmicks and ways for companies to make more money. Now sometimes this is true but after testing the Prima I can confidently say that the Vapir Prima is truly a beast of a unit, offering some exciting features that really can’t be found combined in any other vaporizer on the market. One thing that I like about the Prima, for example, is the easily removable vapor pathway that allows for convenient cleaning and maximum vapor freshness. On the flipside the unit does get hotter than the average vaporizer out there.

Onnit Chimp Primal Bell Will Add A Little Flavor To Your Workouts

chimp-primal-bell-kettlebells

Crossfit is gaining popularity and with it, the use of kettlebells. These have been around for a while, by the way, but now that they’re popular again, why stop at buying a simple ball-shaped one, when you can get yourself the Chimp Primal Bell from Onnit? It weighs 36lbs. (1 pood, for those of you who speak Crossfit-ese) and is made from “chip resistant iron.” That just probably means it’s made from iron, which tends to be more malleable and not chip in general, rather than some form of special iron that doesn’t chip.

It’s $86 for a kettlebell with some personality.

Sharp Develops A Five-Primary-Color Display

Sharp Aquos (Image courtesy Sharp)
By Andrew Liszewski

Sharp has announced that they’ve developed a five-primary-color display that is capable of reproducing more than 99% of real surface colors that the human eye can discern. The new display features something the company calls “Multi-Primary-Color Technology” which is a combination of special image processing circuitry, as well as the addition of cyan and yellow to the standard red, green and blue pixel structure. Unfortunately there’s no photos of the new display just yet, but a prototype will be shown at the Society for Information Display (SID) symposium being held in San Antonio from May 31 to June 5, so hopefully a few shots will turn up.

Nighthawk X6 Review

The first feature that attracts your attention to the Netgear Nighthawk X6 is its three distinct Wi-Fi bands with varying frequencies and speed limits. It has one 2.4GHZ (600MBPS) band and two 5GHZ (1300MBPS) bands installed within a single hardware architecture. You can configure them individually according to your specific gaming and video streaming needs. It supports Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi Antennas, and the USB 3.0/2.0 ports for the maximum performance and speed.

3 Most Important Names in Digital Watches

Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer… they’re all big names in the watch industry when it comes to luxury mechanical timepieces, but here at Oh Gizmo? We say, big deal: we want cool, futuristic-looking digital watches with tons of advanced features! For a time, there was a slight shift away from digital watches, but they recently made a roaring comeback with the invention of smartwatches. However, smartwatches wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the success of several companies in the 80s and 90s. So, here are some important names related to digital watches.

Casio

Japanese company Casio is a name most will connect with digital watches, primarily because of the famous F-91W model that took prominence in the 90s. People all over the world absolutely loved the watch, not only due to its simple-but-effective design but also because of the many features. The resin strap was sturdy and comfortable, it was water resistant, there was an alarm and stopwatch, and it also had a cool LED backlight. Casio had a lot of success with their G-Shock range, which was a lot tougher and built for those needing a digital watch primarily for the outdoors.

Remember The Old Arcade Game Rampage? Well It’s Now A Feature Film and Here’s The Trailer

Remember Rampage from the 90’s? The one where you go around and cause as much chaos and destruction as possible? Well, it’s now being turned into a major blockbuster staring The Rock, and Warner Bros. just released the first trailer.

As you can see from the trailer, there are indeed large monsters causing chaos and destruction to the city (it follows the game so closely!).

The Rock plays a primatologist who befriends a gorilla named George, one day George becomes curious and investigates a meteor landing and after being sprayed in the face with some Hollywood magic, starts growing massive and becomes Curious George a rampaging monster.

The film looks like a lot of fun, and I can say that because they showed the entire movie in the trailer. Like, from the first act to the climax, they showed the entire thing. They showed so much, that I wouldn’t be surprised if the next trailer showed 35 minutes from the sequel.Continue Reading

Selecting a brand new TV to purchase is no easy task. Not only are there are many different models available on the market for you to consider, the TV is often the focal point of a living or family room and therefore needs to meet the expectations that you set for it.
