Being able to carry your BBQ anywhere you go seems to be an increasingly popular ability these days, as seen in products like the BBQ Briefcase we covered a while back. But even that one didn’t have the ability to roll up into a bag, like the GoBQ does. Made from a fireproof silicone-coated fiberglass fabric that can handle temperatures up to 1,200° F (648° C), the 8 lbs. GoBQ unfurls into a “14 x 14-in (35.6 x 35.6-cm) cooking grate that offers more cooking area than the Weber Smokey Joe 14.” A chain-mail like charcoal holder keeps your heat source well ventilated, and the folding legs to which the entire assembly attaches are easily collapsed and transported. The special fabric is also insulating, helping to keep more of the heat within and keeping the outside cooler; we still wouldn’t touch it when grilling, but you get the idea. It’s a good, convenient way to transport your grilling gear anywhere you want, and at $120, is priced just right. If fully-funded, you can expect to catch the tail end of Summer 2015, with a projected shipment date of August.
