So your phone’s running low on power and you forgot to bring your cable or charger (or both) with you. You’re in the middle of typing out an email for your boss or getting the hang of the game that everyone at your office is playing. Whatever it is you’re doing, you’re desperate for power. Unfortunately, nobody around you has a charger on them either. If only there were some way you could bum some power off of their phones…
Well, if you had the Donor Cable, then that’s exactly what you can do. It was distributed byAzerbaijani cellular network Nar Mobile to anyone who bought an Android phone. It starts out as a bracelet but unfolds to turn into a cable that allows you to connect your phone to someone else’s for battery power transfer.
The coolest part? The inside of the bracelet reads: “Donate energy to save a phone, and donate blood to save a life.” This simple message actually encouraged more people to donate blood. Pretty awesome, huh?
