Mogees Turns Anything and Everything Into a Musical Instrument

Mogees1

There’s more to the world than meets the eye–and ears. There’s art in everyday things, from leaves turning into beautiful shades of auburn to the blues, red, and orange that paints the sky with every sunset. You can also make music using the stuff that you see around you, too, although you’ll need a little help from Mogees to actually play it.

Mogees is a small musical instrument that can play anything, from balloons and books to windows and cushions. Conceptualized and created by Bruno Zamborlin, Mogees’ sensor looks like a stethoscope of sorts. It works in conjunction with an app which interprets the signals it receives and transforms it into music.

The entire process is pretty simple. Just stick Mogees onto your instrument of choice, fire up the app, and you’re ready to start making music. Just tap, hit, or blow on your impromptu instrument and be amazed (or appalled) at the sounds that you’ve captured.

Mogees is currently up for funding on Kickstarter, where a minimum pledge of $40 will get you one of your very own. The Mogees are slated to ship later in November of this year.
