No More Sticky Fingers: Jar-with-a-Twist Pushes the Peanut Butter Out With Every Twist

Jar With a Twist

Do you hate having to reach deep down into the jar to scrape the last few spoonfuls of peanut butter or jam left in it? Aside from taking more time than usual, it’ll also leave you with sticky fingers. The solution? Twist-up jars called Jar-with-a-Twist.

It basically reinvents the form of current jars to add a twist-up feature. All you have to do to get to the jars contents is give it a few twists, and the bottom is slowly raised to the surface, providing you with easier access to the goods inside. The jar was originally made for peanut butter, but I don’t think its makers will have a very difficult time extending its use, such as for holding jams or even sauces.

Since it also minimizes contact with air, the Twist-in-a-Jar also keeps its contents fresher. The guys behind the redesigned jar have kept production costs at a minimum so companies and food manufacturers will be compelled to make the switch.
