Dressy Shirt Features Microfiber Patch To Clean Your Gadgets With

VoyVoy-Summer-Oxford-Shirt

Smudges here, smudges there… no matter how oleophobic your gadgets claim to be, they’ll always smudge to some degree. You can live with it, or obsessively wipe them every chance you get. If you happen to be wearing this Oxford Shirt from VoyVoy, you can just tuck out one of your front shirt tails and wipe your device with the patch of microsuede sewn on the inside. Because everyone knows that microfiber cleans better than regular fiber, right? That’s gotta be worth the $98 asking price for this shirt… Right?!

The Modern Day Technophile Does Not Play Fetch With His Dog Like Regular People

ifetch-automatic-ball-launcher

The iFetch device pictured above will throw a ball 10ft, 20ft, or 30ft., so that you don’t have to. It’s meant to be used entirely by your dog, without your intervention. It features a large funnel shaped opening that your pup will hopefully learn how to use, and is activated by the introduction of a ball. Take your pooch to a park, set this on the floor and watch as your canine amuses himself with minimal intervention on your part. If the animal was any smarter, it would resent you for not “spending quality time with it”. Or maybe it’ll do that anyway. I don’t own a dog and never have; will they even notice?

Either way, it’s $75 to pre-order one on Kickstarter.

iPhone Carbon Monoxide Detector Case: This Case Could Save Your Life

iPhone Carbon Monoxide Detector Case

Carbon monoxide kills. You won’t know you’re being exposed to it though, because the gas is odorless, tasteless, and colorless, unless you have a detector that will alert you to its presence. It could happen at home, at your office, and even in your car, but most people don’t have detectors installed in all of these places.

Taking this into consideration and the fact that most people don’t go anywhere without their smartphones, David Tyers designed the iPhone Case with a built-in carbon monoxide detector.

Stunning Carbon Fiber Bathtub/Hammock Is The Only Way We’ll Get Clean, From Now On

carbon-fiber-bathtub-1

The sad thing about opulence is that once you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to go back. And while we haven’t had the pleasure to actually soak in the above bathtub, the Vessel, by British company Splinterworks, the expression “ignorance is bliss” sure seems to apply in this case; we were better off not even knowing such a beauty even existed. Made entirely out of carbon fiber with a foam core, the 2.7m (8.8ft.) tub looks like a hammock, hangs from the wall and drains into a specially made opening underneath it. “Pictured here in black, it also available in red, blue, yellow, pink, bronze and pure silver.” Price is mentioned nowhere on the website, but we suspect that sticker shock on this would be a couple orders of magnitude higher than your typical luxury bathroom furnishing.

Both You And Your Kid Will Get A Kick Out Of The Longboard Stroller

longboard-stroller-1

Are you going to be the boring parent that shuttles his child around in an old fashioned stroller? Four wheels and two handle bars cutting it for you? Yeah, we didn’t think so. That’s why we’re digging the Longboard Stroller. It’s pretty self-explanatory. It’s still under development, so the features and construction isn’t finalized, but it’s pretty clear that once it’s completed (or if), it’ll be one badass mode of transportation/baby carrier. How legal it’ll be, how much it’ll cost and whether it’ll even ever see light of day are questions we’re not able to answer at the moment. Feel free to follow the link below to find out more about the project.

Summer Is Having An RC Amphibious Vehicle That Brings You Beer

electric_amphibious_drink_vehicle

What kind of summer is it when you’re forced to actually move? You’re basking in the sun, and while having suds at your disposal is always great, having to get up to get them isn’t. But if you’re equipped with the Electric Amphibious Vehicle by Frontgate, you can always retrieve more bottles without having to do much of anything. There’s room for 4 drinks, as well as a center mounted water cannon should anyone try to take them from you while in transit. Granted, you’re going to need another person to reload it for you, but that’s what friends are for, isn’t it?

It’s $99.

Samsung’s ATIV Q Hybrid Runs Windows and Android, Could Crush the Competition

Samsung ATIV Q

Samsung wants to crush the competition and they’re pulling out all the stops with the ATIV Q. It’s a tablet-hybrid laptop that not only runs Android, but Windows 8 too. As if that’s not enough, it comes with a sharp 3,200 by 1,800 qHD+ display. The ATIV Q measures 13.3 inches diagonal, making it larger than Samsung’s previous tablets. But that’s probably just as well, especially when you want to use it with its keyboard.

Samsung’s ATIV Q runs on a Core i5 Haswell, so you shouldn’t be too concerned about Windows performance. Users can switch between both operating systems easily with a push of a button. In fact, both Windows and Android can actually run side by side. Samsung also made sure to keep important files and essential documents visible on both systems, so you don’t need to switch between systems just to open a particular file.

‘Hell is Other People’ Helps You Avoid People

Hell is Other Poeple

Feeling anti-social? Now there’s a web app for that. It’s aptly called ‘Hell is Other People’ and it was created by Scott Garner as a web experiment in anti-social media. The service uses data from your Foursquare account to map a route around town or wherever you want to go that will avoid any place or location where your friends are. You know, just in case you’re feeling anti-social and don’t want to run into anyone you know when you’re out and about.

Scott explains that the app “calculates optimally distanced locations” from where your friends have checked in so you can avoid them.

They Walk Among Us: Prank Shows Jedi Using the Force to Open Elevator Doors

The force is with this Jedi, and he likes using his powers to make elevator doors re-open just as they’re sliding shut. You might dismiss it as an odd but amusing coincidence the first time it happens, but when it happens three more times, then you know something’s up. Either this dude really has telekinetic powers or he’s got someone on the outside..

I think it’s pretty clear which of these options is true.

The Star Wars-themed prank was thought up by the JesterLads at King’s College London. It’s pretty hilarious and you can easily replicate it if you want to pull the same prank on other people.
