What Phone Tariff Offers The Most For Customers?

This article is sponsored. -Ed.

Let’s face it-having a mobile phone has now become an extension of the human arm, but how do you know you’re getting the most for your money in today’s saturated market? Be it a smartphone, blackberry or (for those of you still stuck in the 20th century) a run of the mill mobile with minimum redeeming (or modern) features – they all offer various tariffs, but what is right for you?

Top of the list is choosing the right handset, so look at what you use your phone for. If you’re a serial texter, but haven’t yet discovered the wonderful world of ‘apps’, videos and social media then Samsung is the man for you – in particular the E2121b or the E1150i Cobble. These are both at the lower cost end of the spectrum at £21.50 for a 24 month contract. You can find these examples at www.dialaphone.co.uk/.

However, if you are in touch with the modern world, try the Samsung Galaxy SIII, which offers unlimited calls and texts plus 2MB of data at a very reasonable £33.31 a month.

If the thought of sending a message on a handheld device or using a telephone without a nice curly wire attached to it fills you with fear, then try the Nokia 100. This device is perfect for the non-technical user.

Next to consider: to contract or not to contract? The general consensus on this is that if, like most people today, you use your phone to such an extent you could literally text in your sleep you’re better off on a contract. O2 and T-Mobile currently have some great offers available for a number of handsets.

If your phone is gathering dust in a drawer somewhere and only brought out for Christmas, Easter and birthdays, then pay as you go is for you. Here you have the advantage of only paying for what you use, but often don’t get the same bonuses of unlimited calls, texts or data that those on a contract are privy to. Take a look at Virgin and Vodafone for some good pay as you go deals.

So now that you understand choosing a new mobile is as important as choosing a new partner, as complex as choosing a new house, but as beneficial as choosing your lottery numbers – happy shopping!
