I bought an Asus Zenbook a while back, and even though I returned it for a MBA, I was heartbroken to do so. It was a fantastic looking laptop, with great specs and most of all, did I mention it was great looking? Yeah, but sadly the keyboard keyboard and trackpad weren’t as good as the MBA, and when you write for a living, these are really important. Plus, I sort of wanted to try a Mac for the first time. But still, the Zenbook is a great laptop and the Prime is the new, refreshed model with an Ivy Bridge processor. It could even be that the keyboard is improved, I don’t know, I didn’t try it yet. What I do know is that today’s deal sees $105 being slashed off the regular $1,099 price, leaving it at $995.
