If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, eh? Or, why try to reinvent the wheel? Well, come on now folks, there’s plenty of reasons. In the case of the ice cream scoop you see above, there’s three. Serrated leading edge: better digging into your sugary treat. Multi-faceted inner surface of scoop: preventing the fatty sugary treat from sticking to the surface and making it easier to deposit on cone. Pretty: makes scooping your frozen fatty sugary treat more pleasant to the eye. All good reasons to reinvent the scoop, especially when it’s doable at $10 price point.
