It seems the requirements to fall under the Ultrabook moniker involve being thinner than 0.7 inches and having an SSD. The HP Folio 13 seems to fall squarely in that category, measuring exactly 0.7 inches thick (or rather, thin) and sporting a 128GB SSD. Other specs include: “up to 9.25 hours battery life, HD webcam, multi-gesture touchpad, USB 3.0 ports, CoolSense technology, Dolby Advanced Audio, Full-size backlit keyboard, HDMI, 2-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth and more.” Matter of fact, many reviews have been very positive on this notebook, and now that it’s dropped to $799 after a $250 rebate, it might be worth a good hard look.
