Cube Timer Innovates

Cubic-Timer

By David Ponce

This little plastic cube could make your cooking duties a little simpler. Instead of having to dial in a time you need to count down (with potentially dirty fingers), simply turn the cube so that the desired face points up. For example, need 10 minutes? Turn it so 10 faces up, and it’ll start counting down automatically.

And that’s pretty much all it does, but we like it. Even at $34.

Am I having Deja Vu? Or are you?

Oh good, I'm not the only one. I feel like I've seen this on here 3 times now.
  • David Ponce
Hi McMan... no you aren't. You're seeing a case of stupid-editor-who-double-posts. That's what you're seeing...
  • mcman
You know Dave, I wasn't really sure if I did see it here. I guess I did, thanks. You see how loyal I am?
  • Jessicat
That's pretty useful, seeing as I always have to wash my hands and use the microwave timer and rush back to the pan to stir.
  • EspritOuvert
Isn't your microwave right above your stove? I thought that was a standard setup in the kitchen...
  • mcman
Jess, when you use the mic timer do you wonder if it's heating up inside? I mean it shouldn't but my paranoid mind always thinks that I shouldn't be running it without something inside.....like some tinfoil or an aluminum polygon.
  • Jessicat
seriously? Ummm no the microwave has a kitchen timer on it, you push it before inputting the time... then you push start, all it does it count down... no heating, no "microwaving" action, just a timer...
  • mcman
    Mine doesn't have that option.
