Iron Samurai LED Watch Now A Reality

If I’m not mistaken, at one point in time this Iron Samurai watch was nothing more than a concept design that cleverly hid an LED display inside a ’stylish’ men’s bracelet. But it’s now available from Chinavasion for a mere $15, and while they claim the bracelet is made from “Samurai sword carbonized steel folded 1000x over” I think the “This watch is not waterproof” warning tells a more accurate tale of the quality of the materials that went into it. And if I am mistaken about this being a concept at some point, I hope you can forgive me and be content with the fact you can now get one for just $15.

  • There is a service out there that waterproofs electronic devices... but I'm betting it would cost many times the cost of the watch. Sigh.
  • Actually, $15 is so cheap to get this cool watch. But it is pity that this watch does not supports waterproof function. I have found one led watch comes with water resistant from here:http://www.eleczilla.com/fashion-black-eagle-led-intercrew-watch-waterproof-ezce025.html.

    And don't forget, you're buying almost directly with the manufacturer in a Chinese website, it should be cheap.

    I agree, I'm scared to buy something that looks too good for that price. I mean $15 isn't a lot.
  • Just for $15? It looks more than that price. Looks are really deceiving, it's not waterproof that's why. Maybe this one is for cold weather as the color might differ once the skin perspire. This should be wear by avon clearskin

    I expected this watch to cost a lot more. It looks great, but with such a low price, I'm skeptical of its quality.
