Portable iPhone Dock May Add A Little Bulk

Sure it claims to keep your iPhone fully charged and playing movies for an entire trans-Atlantic flight, but that extra battery life promised by this dock comes at the cost of your phone’s pocket-friendly dimensions. And in addition to the large rechargeable battery which takes four hours to juice up, this circular dock also features a set of 1/2-watt speakers for disturbing those around you on your flight, and a collapsible stand in the back for propping it up on a tray table. You can still make and receive calls while the iPhone is mounted inside, but you’ll have to use the speakerphone option or a bluetooth headset if for some reason you think holding this against your head is inconvenient. $129.95 from Hammacher Schlemmer.

    Then when you finish watching your video, you can play Frisbee with the other passengers. I mean it would be nicer on a car ride where you share the device because on a flight the speakers would annoy other passengers on a flight. Plus the price is pretty pricey.

    When I first saw the picture I thought it was a frisbee. Then I read the description and it still sounded like a frisbee. I guess it's not a frisbee, and that makes me sad. Now I want someone to invent a frisbee that I can play music on, and have a ipod/iphone dock that can still work when playing frisbee.
