I think it makes sense for those of us who suck at art, or have limited attention spans. And cmon andrew, you know the classic etch-a-sketch will never go away, but they still gotta make money somehow

OMG that is too funny. So in one you can't do circles easily and with the new one you can't do squares. That is amazing. I suppose they can't truly improve it.

These are needed because the younger generation doesn't have the patience required to develop skills that will benefit them in life. Like…The original Etch A Sc….OK, so maybe it won't benefit them down the road.

How DARE they! I mean, I loved how hard it was to create an image on my Etch A Sketch, because when I finally DID do something cool-looking, I was so proud of it! That was the fun of it. My little neices and nephews still enjoy this toy, in spite of the games that they have. It's still a good time. Leave it alone, I say!!
