This thing looks bulky, crappy, and is made from “chrome plastic.” I'd rather put my $30 towards shaky pictures of strippers, than of stable pictures of puppies or whatever I'm supposed to need an iPhone tripod for.

I think the biggest issue is that the iphone is no longer smooth and easy to handle with that thing attached to it.

This isn't worth it to me. Get a regular camera and take pictures of good quality. One thing i dont like about the iphone, so i still use my old sony ericsson camera phone that actually has a flash in it

I would call it just a tripod adapter more then a case. I could never see anyone taking their iPhone out of their pocket with that thing attached to it.

Why bother making your iphone more like a camera then a phone when it's only a couple mega-pixels? Save the money from buying an adapter and invest in a real camera.
