Yeah, you know, I really like my Miele vacuum. I also like my shirts well pressed, and the sticker price is only slightly more than I pay for a years worth of dry-cleaning bills… and that even looks pretty slick and all, but I still won't be making any room for it in my tiny little Manhattan apartment. Definitely an apparatus for people in the burbs. Looks like it needs its own room.

This isn´t “new” at all. We used to have such thing back in the 70´s and 80´s. It was called “mangler”. It wasn´t very reliable and was kind of bulky but ti worked.

My mother had a similar item when I was a kid in the 60's. It was larger and bulkier but did the same thing. She used to call it the 'mangler'. I don't know what the real name was
