We dialed into it with our schools 300 baud phone mux'ed tele-terminal and had the option to copy the game 'code' to punch tape to play later. As you can guess the game back then was all text and basically challenged you to speed typing and managing rations over time. Not many games can claim the long lasting fame of Oregon Trail.
