Pistolight Turns A Disposable Lighter Into A Miniature Flamethrower

Well, maybe flamethrower is a bit of a stretch, but for pyromaniacs on a budget this Pistolight, designed by Sooda Mayer, could provide a similar thrill the next time they’re disposing of an abandoned warehouse. The horizontal orientation of the lighter also apparently also makes it easier for regular folk to light candles, tea lights etc. I can’t find any pricing info, but I don’t expect them to cost much more than the lighter itself.

  • Considering how difficult it is to press down a lot of 'safety lighters' in the conventional way, this looks set to require quite a lot of finger strength.
