I see what happened here. The Disqus plugin we use tries to synchronize our Wordpress comments with its own records every time someone posts a comment on the site. Every now and then (rarely), a comment from Disqus does not get reflected into our WP database immediately. In this case, Ars and Radiodork both didn't show up in our WP backend right away, so the timestamp for their comment places them below #14. We used our backend (not Disqus') to determine the winner.
