Nice review. Too bad I didn't read it BEFORE I shelled out the $25 for this POS. I found the exact same issues as you, except getting the remote in and out isn't too bad. To get it out, simply swing up the piece on the top of the gun and push up right by the B button on the remote. The remote slides right out and you can then unhook the nunchuck. Doesn't really matter though as not being able to use the “trigger” to fire the gun kills the whole experience anyways.

How disappointing, you'd think that in thos day and age manufacturers would have the sense to trial their goods and correct all of those issues before they hit the shelves.
