Datamore Porté HDD Enclosure Features A Gimmicky But Cool Design

Even though external hard drives are not particularly exciting or interesting, it didn’t stop LaCie from going the extra mile to make their external drives actually look like something you’d want sitting on your desk. The same can be said for the Datamore Porté enclosure which is currently available for sale in Korea. Besides a curvy and not-so-distant-future design, the Porté also features a hinged door that makes accessing or installing a hard drive particularly easy. Sure it’s gimmicky, but I’m also sure it will sell plenty of units. The Datamore Porté comes with USB and eSATA connections depending on which version you buy, and while I have no idea how much it costs, it doesn’t matter because it apparently can’t be sold outside of Korea.
