Techball – Remote Controlled Upright Pinball

Well humanity loses another point on the giant scoreboard of progress with this upright, remote controlled pinball machine. I can appreciate the space-saving nature of its design, particularly since you can hang it on the wall of your office, but why not just opt for one of the surprisingly realistic pinball games available for your PC (or console) which are significantly cheaper than the $119.95 that Hammacher Schlemmer is asking for this thing? And that giant remote control with its thumb buttons doesn’t make it any more attractive to me either, even with its solenoid controlled flippers, flashing LED lights, hidden tunnels and detachable black light for ‘glow-in-the-dark’ play.

Seeing that the thing sits vertically, that balls got to be going pretty bloody quickly when its sent back down… if its a standard metal pinball atleast. Looks like a crappy varient of those 24.99 micro pinball tables that your uncle had for no apparent reason, but they were cooler then his stories so you played it anyway.
