		<description>It&#039;s cool, but I can&#039;t see any real purpose.  In my experience, people don&#039;t adjust their speed for passing based on the speedometer, they do it intuitively.  I would however like one that could make, oh say...  ... a happy face, a sad face, and a raised middle finger, for communicating with motorist.  :-)  :-(    -nIm</description>

		<description>I would guess that showing your speed on a bike lets drivers behind you know how fast (or slow) you are traveling and gives the driver a little bit more information for safely passing the cyclists.  Thus creating a safer drive for both.</description>
