Pedal Powered Wheelchair Seems So Wrong

By Luke Anderson

This product looks like it has to be the product of some sick twisted mind. Seriously, a wheel chair is made for people that can’t walk, or at the very least have trouble walking. So why on earth would you make a pedal-powered wheel chair?

There is an actual purpose behind this chair, aside from making disabled people cry. This allows people who still have limited use of their legs to try and build up strength. While it does serve a good purpose, it still just looks plain cruel.

I have always dreamed of something like that…

All these years cripples have been using their arms to move around when they could have been using their legs….. wait a minute.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Plenty of people who use wheelchairs can actually walk to some extent, but it’s usually only in short bursts. When it becomes hard to walk, you stop walking as much, which will make it even harder because you’re getting even less exercise in your legs. I know a couple older people who could benefit from this, as it would allow them to get more, low-impact exercise for their legs. It’s a great idea.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Mark.. exactly what I thought upon reading it.
