UMEMD For The PSP Stores 4 Memory Sticks

At first glance you might look at this new accessory for the PSP and think “Wow! Someone’s found a way to read multiple Memory Sticks via the UMD drive!” But unfortunately I was you’d be mistaken. The UMEMD was created by former XBox hackers Team Xecuter and is actually designed to conveniently hold up to 4 Memory Sticks and be stored either in a UMD case, or in the PSP itself. For some reason it’s only compatible with the original PSP 1000, which I find confusing since it’s not like the new slim model uses different sized UMDs.

The UMEMD should be available sometime in the next 2 weeks, but pricing info has yet to be announced.

I heard a lot of people complaining that the PSP 2000's UMD door was flimsy, so I'm guessing that the housing itself is slightly different, thus the imcompatability.
