Menopause or menopauza symptoms can be a real problem for middle aged women. The body suffers a lot of modifications and because of other problems like urinarry stress incontinence this can prove to be a very hard period for any kind of woman. Luckily there are products like the Zoft gum or similar which help reduce these simptoms but overall it's a tough stage in any woman's life.

The ChiliPad is the best thing I have ever bought!!!
my hot flashes started about 4 years before menopause, and I was trying everything to beat them! Herbal Supplements, Wicking PJ's , the list goes on and on. but nothing helped until my husband found the ChiliPad when he was searching the internet one day. I thank God that he found it!!!
Now I sleep comfortably and he sleeps comfortably. He both have our different temperatures for our side of the bed… it is Wonderful!!!!

If you want to sleep like you never have before, then make a change for the better nad get a ChiliPad.

Oleg: Yeah, it’s less a correction, more a constructive criticism. If that’s the worst one can say, I’m quite pleased. Hopefully the fact that my very screen name was chosen after a unit prefix should help to put this particular obsessiveness of mine into perspective. (I consider myself more of a geeky type than a nerd though.)

Evan: Exactly what I mean. Fahrenheit temperatures are just as un-intuitive to me as km/h are to you. As a writer for an international audience you should try to please both sides. Unless your advertising and affiliate programs are specifically aimed at an U.S.-centric market, then of course it would only make sense to do it the other way around. (As a non-scientific writer, if you KNOW which temperature scale will be implied by your readers, you also could simply leave out the clumsy Fahrenheit symbol and just say “between 68 and 118 degrees”.) In any case, taking the time to type out a degree symbol should be part of any author’s proofreading process, just like getting the grammar right and checking for typos.

That’s a fair enough point, Yocto… Although, I don’t use the little circle thingy only because it’s a pain in the butt to type in. I’ll blame the rest of it on my American upbringing and our nonsensical imperialist measuring system. For the record, I’m generally a metric system guy, except for two things: speed, and temperature. It’s an unfortunate fact that since I grew up with F and MPH (excuse me, °F), °C and KPH just don’t make intuitive sense to me, you know? But I’ll be more careful in the future.

Must say I don’t mind when both temperature scales are mentioned. But I’m fully impressed with how nerdy the above correction of Evans writing is.
Still if he chooses to follow it that’s fine. But it sure was funny to read I figure you meant well. It just sounded like a raised finger from some 4th grade teacher

When you use temperatures, could you watch your writing style? Temperatures on the Fahrenheit scale are expressed with the unit symbol written “°F”. In addition, while it’s not a universally followed style (particularly in the U.S. and Britain), the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures requires a space between the number and the unit. So does the international standard ISO 31, and even the style guide of the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology. Thus, it should be: (ideally, coded with a non-breaking space “ ”)

“You can control the temperature between 68 °F and 118 °F plus or minus 1 degree with a wireless remote. (20 °C to 48 °C)”

Also note my conversion here. The Fahrenheit scale is pretty uncommon outside the United States. It certainly isn’t your responsibility as an author reporting about items that didn’t give Celsius temperatures in the first place, though I suppose this site gets its fair share of non-U.S. readers. If you could take the extra time to include converted temperatures in your posts, we won’t have to calculate them individually. The formula is °C = (°F – 32) / 1.8 . A little service that would make your site appeal to an even wider audience. Thanks!
