Oxycheck – Fingertip Oximeter (For Measuring Your Pulse)

Adding to the list of hospital-type equipment you can now get for home use but probably shouldn’t is this fingertip Oximeter. It clips to your finger just like the “real” ones do but it’s completely self-contained. It’s designed to instantly measure both your blood oxygen saturation levels and your pulse rate and will display the results on a built-in LCD display. It even has what looks like a pulse tracing graph that hopefully correlates to your actual heartbeat.
And like most home medical equipment the Oxycheck is more recommended for keeping track of your health during physical activities like working out or joggging. It’s definitely not a substitute for seeing a doctor every once in a while, even if it’s a lot cheaper.
