Messy Drawers – Storage For Non-Obsessive Types

POAA Chest Of Drawers (Images courtesy POAA)
By Andrew Liszewski

I’ll admit when it comes to keeping things organized I could be considered a little obsessive compulsive at times. But I still think these chest of drawers designed to look like a complete mess are kind of cool. All the drawers are collected from furniture that has been abandoned on the street and each chest is uniquely designed and numbered by artist Tejo Remy.

The downside though is the cost. Of all the outrageously priced designer items I’ve written about over the years this one is definitely the winner. What is basically a collection of discarded furniture will set you back an absolutely ludicrous $22,393. (€16,600)

  • Kouroth

For a 10th of that you could probably just get some carpenter to make you one.

  • John Kelly

Would be ideal for the Harry Enfield “I saw you coming” character

    Uh…Kouroth?
A tenth of the asking price is still over $2200 (€1660)
Why not just go and make your own? Drawers, nails, a bit of strapping, yer done!
    :-)
