Obsidian Mouse Ditches Wheel, Prefers Touch

saitek obsidian mouse

By David Ponce

There’s really not much time to be spent on a mouse, unless it fetches your beer and makes you nachos. That said, when it looks slick, it’s worth a quick mention. The Obsidian from Saitek doesn’t look half bad in our opinion, and happens to have replaced its scroll wheel with a touchpad instead. This gives it more of a rocky/blocky/monolithic appearance, in keeping with its namesake.

Aside from the looks and the touchpad/scrollwheel business, you should know that it’s got a decent 1,000DPI sensor, and costs $50 from Amazon.
