It is very close to the X-43B design that I tell people, "If we'd have gone with Burnelli's design back then, we'd have gotten to the X-43 design a "lot" sooner." A NASA Sr. Aeronautical Engineer also made the connection and wondered why he had never heard of this Vincent Burnelli.
