My quest for the perfect ‘minimal-thickness’ wallet has been a long journey and more often than not has resulted in me settling with products that are designed for holding business cards instead. Believe it or not finding an actual wallet that’s also thin isn’t easy and I’m starting to think they’re just not meant to be that way.
Along the lines of the Jimi comes this Wallet 2.0 designed by Steve Gates. While not thin enough for my tastes the Wallet 2.0 appears to do a really good job at accomodating and organizing a lot of different things (including coins) using a series of tabbed plastic sleeves that can be swapped in and out as needed. The Wallet 2.0 itself is made of soft silicone and has a flexible lid that should keep anything from falling out while in your pocket.
The Wallet 2.0 doesn’t appear to be available at this time but their site does indicate they are looking for retailers to start carrying it.
