		<description>All hybrid/electric cars use the braking method. It&#039;s why they paradoxically get much better gas mileage around town or in traffic than they do on the freeway. I don&#039;t know for sure but I believe that they are only non-mechanical to a point. Meaning that if you slam on the breaks that the mechanical ones kick in. Also serving as a backup if the non-mechanical ones fail.</description>
