TruScene Keeps An Eye On Your Car For You

truscene

By David Ponce

You’re sure to appreciate how useful this item is if you’ve ever been in an accident that wasn’t your fault, or better yet, if some asshole rammed your car while parked, then took off without leaving his number. The TruScene camera hooks up to your rear view mirror, and films whatever is in front. It is constantly filming, saving everything into a 30 second buffer, discarding anything past that. If a sudden jolt, or bump is detected by the device, then it saves those 30 seconds into its internal memory, giving you a view of the incident, and the moments preceding it. Come inside for a video demonstration.

There is no pricing at the moment, and it’s slated to hit the market in Autumn 2006.
