Those wacky Germans at K?nig+Neurath have designed a sort of mobile office unit that gives the age old office cubicle a (much needed?) update. Standing at just over six feet tall, the St@ndby-Office is just that: a ready-made portable office......

[...] I’ve never been fond of cubicles, until now. This is a cubicle to go. The Standby Office is a portable, modular, cubicle on wheels that allows you to set up shop anywhere you like. And with a built-in wireless LAN you just plug in your laptop and you’re on your way. I imagine these are a great solution for companies that are growing very, very quickly or perhaps for disguised, Murphy bed-like home offices. Life is mobile. And now so is your office.
Actually, I'm a technical trainer and I am required to be able to take my 2 PC's and all my other teaching materials from classroom to classroom and this would be FRIGGIN GREAT! Currently we're using these little push carts, but after a couple days of use in any one spot they become a complete tangle of wire deeply rooted in place. Being able to move the entire desk and a considerable amount of shelving all at once by just unplugging power and network would be wonderful! This is definitely getting forwarded to my supervisor.
