Video Proof Of Quake 3 Running On 24 Monitor Array

By David Ponce

In case you missed it last week, you should know that hardware junkies worldwide expelled a collective gasp of delight at the news of Quake 3 being run on a 24-monitor Linux cluster, at a mind distorting resolution of 10240?3072 pixels. Disbelief abounded, and video proof was demanded. Overwhelmed by the reaction, the good folks at Plastk:net obliged.

So, here you have it. A video showing just how sweet it is to run Quake 3 Arena, with a gyro mouse (similar to the Nintendo Revolution’s new controller) and a standard mouse, on 24 monitors simultaneously.

If you can’t see the video, it’s probably because you don’t have Flash installed. Go get it, you bum!
