Panasonic Makes Dinner Infra-Ready A Lot Faster

Panasonic FlashXpress? Infrared Toaster Oven (Image courtesy Panasonic website)By Andrew Liszewski

What a time to be alive! These days everything from toothbrushes to vacuums have gotten the high-tech treatment, and it’s finally time for the lowly toaster oven to get it’s upgrade.

Using a technology they call FlashXpress? this Panasonic Toaster oven is able to toast bread and heat up frozen pizzas 40% faster than an old-fashioned toaster oven through the use of an infrared light system. The use of infrared also facilitates what Panasonic calls ‘instant heating’ which eliminates the need to pre-heat the oven, allowing you to just get on with the cooking.

The Panasonic FlashXpress? Infrared Toaster Oven is available on the Panasonic website for $119.95 and comes in your choice of white or silver.

u really got to get rid of that nasty cheap looking banner – you’ve missed the boat dude with the pixel ads. When is your redesign happening, it was meant to be months ago. Your like the boy who cried wolf

You’re completely right, man. That banner will go, to be replaced by shorter lived small banner ads to compensate the advertisers who already signed up. And the redesign, well… I haven’t said anything, becuase, like you said, I already sound like the boy who cried wolf. I’m in talks with (yet another) someone, and I’ll eventually post a firm date. The thing about redesiging, at least properly, is that it ain’t cheap. If you want it done a certain way, and professionally, it’s always in the four figures. At least form my experience. But I may have found someone. So for now, keep coming for the content. But when it’s out, you can come for the content and the pretty site. 🙂

Not exactly new. I’ve had this oven for over 2 years now. It does work great, I use it more than the regular oven or the microwave.

I have one of these ovens and it makes the very best toast. All other foods, poor to average. Retail price is expensive for a toaster, but I got mine for 1/2 the price with rebates and being on sale from Amazon.
