Light It Snow, Light It Snow

Unless you’re one of those persons who leaves their Christmas lights up all year round to help bring down the neighborhoods property value, this might come a bit too late for the holiday season.

The Snowfall Light Box from Hammacher Schlemmer ($79.95) uses a bright spotlight focused on a rotating mirrorball to create the illusion of a gentle snowfall. The light bounces off of the mirrors and scatters onto the house, creating an enlarged pattern of falling snow flakes. The size of the flakes as well as the rate of descent can be adjusted by the user to help keep the level of tacky as low as possible.
