Oh! Gizmo

Every once in a while, I like to pat myself on the back. It’s fun. You should try it.

In this case, I wanted to share with y’all some numbers. Particularly this: we have, as of yesterday, passed the 1,000,000 unique visits mark. Strangely enough, no one came knocking at my door to greet me with a fanfare, or better yet, a couple of uh… ah, never you mind.

In any case, I’m really happy. Took us less than a year to manage, and really, actually, only took six months. As of May 2005, we did not even have 10,000 visits. Then, well… then things took off.

So, a big Thank You to everyone who comes here regularly. Thanks for making comments and giving the place at least a tiny little bit of a sense of community. Thanks for telling your friends, and helping us grow. And growth is really what’s on our (my) mind. If all goes according to plan, I’d love to have a 2 million visitor announcement within four months.

How can you help? Glad you asked. Spread the word! Ladies, paint OhGizmo on your, um, body parts and send us pictures! Get OhGizmo tattoos! Or, that failing, at least tell your friends to come visit.
